Men's Golf finishes second at Golden Bears Classic

Daniels, WV – Shawnee State men's golf finished second at the West Virginia Tech Golden Bear Classic, hosted at Glade Springs on Monday and Tuesday, shooting 647 over the two days to finish eight strokes back at +71.

Jacob Braskett (SO/South Bloomfield, Ohio) led the way for SSU in the tournament, placing third and finishing on the All-Tournament team. Braskett shot 81-76 to post a two-day score of 157, +13 over par. Jordan Tieman (FR/Portsmouth, Ohio) also finished in the All-Tournament team, shooting a two-day 78-81 to score a 159, finishing tied for fifth.

The result is Shawnee State's third second place finish of the season. SSU also finished in second at the Lindsey Wilson Fall Invitational and the Kentucky Christian Invitational.

Shawnee State golf will finish their fall season at home on October 15-16 when they host the Shawnee State Fall Invitational at Shawnee State Park Golf Resort.
