PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Women's Basketball) – Seth has been named as one of 60 NAIA men's basketball players as a Daktronics-NAIA Division I Scholar-Athlete, the national office announced this week. In order to be nominated, a student athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
Young, a Franklin Ohio native, has received this recognition for the second year in a row. The senior sports a 3.94 grade point average and looks to graduate this spring with a degree in business administration.
In total, the Mid-South Conference placed eight members on the Scholar-Athlete list. Grand View University paced the country with four individuals on the list.
