PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Tennis) – Seven members of the Shawnee State women's tennis program have been named to the Academic All-Mid-South Conference squad, conference officials announced Thursday. In order to be nominated, student-athletes must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
Shawnee State led all Mid-South institutions with seven honorees.
Sophomore Molly Richards (FR/Washington Courthouse, Ohio) led the way with a 4.0 grade point average, while Nicole Harmon (SO/Shelby, Ohio) came in next, sporting a 3.96 GPA. Three others had at least a 3.6 mark, as Kendi Kistler (SO/Chillicothe, Ohio) (3.64), Mara McGee (SO/Baltimore, Ohio) (3.62) and Adrianna Johnson (FR/Clarksville, Ohio) (3.6) were next in line, respectively.
In total, 34 women's tennis players in the Mid-South earned the Academic All-Conference nod.
