Portsmouth, Ohio – Shawnee State golf is back in action on Sunday, October 16th and Monday, October 17th when both the men and women will host the Shawnee State Invitational at the Elks Country Club.
Men's golf were last in action on September 25th and 26th, when they played in the Indiana University-East Harbor Links Invitational. The Bears finished second, one stroke behind tournament winners Cincinnati Christian. Dagan Abdon (SO/Greenup County, Ky.) finished in second place individually at +11 (76/79).
Women's golf last played at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament on September 19th and 20th, finishing in ninth. Emily Hayes (FR/Pataskala, Ohio) had the best two day score for the Bears at +52 (196).
The tournament will get off to a shotgun start on Sunday at 1:30pm, with Monday's tee time scheduled for 10:30am.
