Ericka Leighty and Ali Thompson were among 308 athletes that were named NAIA Scholar Athletes for softball.

Leighty, a junior from South Point, Ohio, majors in Exercise Science and will begin her Masters in Occupational Therapy in the fall.

Thompson, a junior from Franklin Furnace, Ohio, is a Business Administration major. 

To be eligible for the honors one must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order qualify.
