Adam Davenport was the sixth men's basketball player inducted into the Shawnee State Hall of Fame. He played at Shawnee State from 2001-05 and finished his career with 1,381 points, which was the third-highest total in school history at the time of his graduation. During his senior season, Davenport was a first-team All-AMC selection. This honor came after being named second-team All-AMC as both a sophomore and junior. In his first season at Shawnee State, he was a member of the team that advanced to the AMC Tournament finals and was one game from the NAIA Tournament. He played in 126 games and made 110 starts. He averaged 13.4 points per game over his four seasons, including a career-best 18.4 points per game as a senior. He was inducted in 2013.
