CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (Women's Soccer) – Campbellsville University scored goals in the fourth, sixth and 12th minutes to take an early advantage, and the Shawnee State women's soccer team collected just on shot on goal in the entire match, as the Tigers defeated SSU, 5-0, Saturday at Finley Stadium.

The Bears' lone shot on frame came from Heather Hencye (FR/Russell, Ky.), who was one of just six players to even attempt a shot. Meanwhile, SSU keeper Mollie King (JR/West Jefferson, Ohio) endured a barrage of shots, making 11 saves in the contest.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (Men's Soccer) – The Shawnee State men's soccer team allowed an own goal as time expired, as the Bears fell, 3-2, at the hands of Campbellsville University on Saturday at Finley Stadium.

The score came on a wild play as the clock headed toward zero. With 13 seconds on the lock CU used a free kick which deflected off an SSU player to create a corner kick. The corner turned tragic for the Bears, as the ensuing kick deflected off keeper Brandon Pfeifer (FR/Canal Winchester, Ohio) and into the goal.

COLUMBIA, Ky. (Volleyball) – The Shawnee State volleyball team hit just .083 against No. 8 Lindsey Wilson College en route to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Blue Raiders in a Mid-South Conference matchup on Friday night at Biggers Sports Center.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Volleyball) – Paige Zelich (SR/Grove City, Ohio)'s kill to take a 28-26 victory in the second set marked the 1,000th career kill for the senior, as Shawnee State avoided its seventh straight defeat, winning, 3-1, over Campbellsville University on Thursday night at Frank and Janis Waller Gymnasium.

The Mid-South Conference victory pushed the Bears (12-13, 5-4 Mid-South) into a stronghold for fourth place in the conference, holding a 1.5 game advantage over the fifth-ranked University of the Cumberlands.
