




BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Golf closed its opening round of the 2013 Mid-South Championship in sixth place overall in the team standings. The Bears shot 311 as a team in the opening round of the three-day tournament. That score places them five shots clear of seventh-place UVA-Wise and just four seven shots out of third place. Lindsey Wilson shot 293 as a team and is leading the way after round one.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Golf turned in another solid performance on the links Tuesday as it shot 307 as a team during the second round at the Bluegrass Spring Classic. That score put the Bears in third place at the tournament's conclusion with a combined score of 613 over the two days. Campbellsville finished 25 strokes clear of second place Cumberland University. The Bulldogs shot 298 on the second day to finish second overall.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – After winning the Ohio-Chillicothe Invitational this past weekend, golf kept its positive momentum rolling right into the Georgetown College Bluegrass Spring Classic. In the opening round of this two-day tournament, the Bears posted their second-best team score of the spring season, an opening round 306. This score was only bested by the Bears with an opening round 304 at the Shawnee State Invitational to start the 2013 spring season.

PORTSMOUTH – The Shawnee State golf team got to experience its first victory as team this season with a win at the Ohio-Chillicothe Invitational. The Bears shot 323 as a team to capture the championship. For each of the six players on the team, it was not only their first victory this season but there first collegiate victory as a team since coming to Shawnee State.

LONDON, Ky. – Golf wrapped up its final day at the 20th Annual SEKI-MSC Tournament in 16th place in the team standings. The Bears cut five strokes off of their team score from the opening round, scoring 340 on the second and final day. Coupled with an opening round score of 345, the Bears shot 685 over the two-day tournament.
