PORTSMOUTH – Shawnee State men's soccer has announced the signing of defender Devin Tulley. Tulley comes to Shawnee State from Cuyahoga High School. He is the younger brother of current Shawnee State player Alex Tulley. The elder Tulley has played in 26 matches, making 14 starts for the Bears in his first two years with the Bears.

PORTSMOUTH – Shawnee State men's soccer has announced the signing of Northwest High School's Gabe Howard. Howard is set to join the Bears for the fall of 2014 after earning first-team All-District honors during both his junior and senior seasons.

PORTSMOUTH - The Shawnee State men's soccer program is proud to announce that it will be holding an open workout on Sunday, March 30. The cost is $50.00 per player. Each player will need to sign-in at the Shawnee Turf on that Sunday prior to working out.

Academic All-Ohio

PORTSMOUTH – Men's soccer placed three of its players on the Academic All-Ohio team. This award takes into account a student-athletes contribution and athletic success on the field as well as their performance in the classroom. For the Bears, Thomas Carbonari, Jacob Hackworth and Kevin Copenhaver were each named second-team selections. For all three, it marked the first time in their playing careers that each received this honor.

2013 All-Ohio NAIA/NCAA

PORTSMOUTH – Men's soccer had three players selected as NAIA/NCCAA All-Ohio performers. Martyn Sayer, Tanner Hopwood and Joseph Webster were each named first-team selections for the Bears. The award is the first in each of their careers.
