PORTSMOUTH – Head Coach Robin Hagen-Smith's legendary career is coming to a close at the end of June with the announcement of her retirement after 30 years of coaching. However, before that date she announced one final signing with several ties to Shawnee State as Notre Dame High School's Jen Arnzen has signed her Letter of Intent to continue her career with the Bears this coming fall.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – With classes and finals wrapped up for the spring semester, Shawnee State's track & field team sent just 10 members combined between both of its men's and women's teams to the Louisville Cardinal Twilight Classic. Despite the shortened list of competitors, there were several highlights for the Bears in their final meet before the NAIA Championships as three members bested their seed times.

PORTSMOUTH - Shawnee State University Softball will be holding walk-on tryouts on Saturday, June 1. These tryouts will be held at Doc Singleton Ballpark in West Portsmouth beginning at 5 p.m. All interested students should contact Assistant Coach Amy McGuire for additional information. PORTSMOUTH – Shawnee State men's soccer is hosting a Goalkeeper Camp on Monday, May 13. The camp will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to children ages 12 – 18. The camp will be conducted on the Shawnee Turf located on the campus of Shawnee State University and home of the men's soccer team. Cost of the camp will be $30 per individual.
