PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Men's and Women's Cross Country) – The Shawnee State men's and women's cross country teams are no strangers to the nation stage. On Saturday, when the squads head out to the course in Lawrence, Kan., for the NAIA National Championship, the Bears bring six-straight years of experience on the men's side and four-straight from the women at the NAIA's premier event.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Men's Basketball) – The Shawnee State men's basketball team saw a six-point halftime deficit grow out of hand quickly, as Lindsey Wilson used a 15-4 run – effectively taking control of the game – en route to a 69-52 victory over SSU on Thursday night at Frank & Janis Waller Gymnasium.

The Bears (1-5, 0-3 Mid-South) shot just 41.2 percent from the field, including a 5-of-20 mark from three-point range, as the Bears were outscored 36-25 in the second half.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Women's Basketball) – Trailing by 12 at the break and as many as 16 points in the second half, the Shawnee State women's basketball team rallied behind a 16-0 run at the 14:26 mark in the second half en route to a 79-70 victory over No. 18 Lindsey Wilson on Thursday night at Frank & Janis Waller Gymnasium.

The Bears moved to 7-0 on the season, pushing their Mid-South Conference record to a perfect 7-0. The loss was Lindsey Wilson's first of the season – in its first MSC contest this year.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Men's and Women's Basketball) – The Shawnee State women's and men's basketball teams for their third straight Mid-South Conference matchup, each team facing off against Lindsey Wilson College on Thursday night at Frank & Janis Waller Gymnasium.

Cross Country - Wed, Nov. 19, 2014

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Men's and Women's Cross Country) – Nine members of the Shawnee State men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the Mid-South Conference All-Academic squad. The award was presented to each runner who achieved at least a 3.25 grade point average and achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Seven members of the women's squad were honored for SSU – which tied for Campbellsville University for the most among the nine-team conference.
